Stockport Christian Counselling offers a professional and confidential counselling to all. It offers counselling to both single people and couples regardless of race, sex or religion.

Stockport Churches Drugs Project

Christians from several churches in Stockport area, including some who have personal experience of drug-related issues, and some who have professional skills and qualifications.

The project runs the Stepping Stone drop-in centre which aims to bridge the gap between a culture of drug misuse and a valued role in society. It welcomes people who misuse drugs, including alcohol, and offers a non-threatening environment, practical and spiritual support and a listening ear.

The Wellspring

The Wellspring provides free hot and cold food and drinks in a warm friendly environment. Hot showers, clothes, shoes and blankets are available for homeless and vulnerable men and women, and advice is given on health and housing.

The centre holds creative therapy groups and Maths and English classes each week, and Stockport’s community drugs team provides a project worker each month.

The Wellspring also has a football team which plays once a week in the power league in Stockport.

The centre is open every day from 11.30 am to 2 pm, and from 6.30 pm to 8 pm on Mondays to Thursdays.
