Jesus' life was hallmarked by love. He had time for people; He did not judge people; He demonstrated his love by helping people practically: providing them with food, healing their bodies, giving them words of comfort, and helping them connect with the God who made and loves them.

And He sends us out to do the same – to be His hands and feet, showing His love to the people in our community.  We have been called to be salt and light in our community, making it a better place to live, helping people to experience God’s love for themselves:

• To encourage our children to thrive in every way
• To show care for elderly people and those living on their own in need
• To encourage and support our schools, college, nurseries, and children’s clubs
• To look for those who are overlooked, neglected and forgotten by others
• To heal the sick and help those who are broken and lonely
  
• To help the spiritually hungry to find God for themselves
• To encourage those who provide care services in our community
• To support our local business community who serve us
