Accountable Small Groups

 

It is well known that there are different types and levels of relathinships between different groupings.  For most elements of life, this is an invaluable way of knowing, growing and supporting each other.  The male-male friendship offers freedom to know and grow in all aspects of.  In short some blokes need mates, and Godly ones at that.

The aims of these groups:

  • To develop groups of men who grow a bonding friendship and aspire to encourage and support each other to moving on in faith, becoming more Christ-like in all aspects of their lives through the Bible and the gifts of the Spirit.
  • Half a dozen men accountable to each other, supporting each other in prayer.
  • To meet together at a time and place that is possible for all members (currently early morning and Friday lunchtime groups meet).  In between they may keep in touch by mobile or email, to keep up with each other.
  • In partnership with the Holy Spirit - to seek to intentionally develop in each of the WWW
    • World - Something that practically needs to change
    • Walk - Something in walk of faith that could be developed
    • Witness - to seek to show others something of God's concern for them. People whom you would love to see God at work in their lives, drawing them towards faith.
