Give praise for Jenny in her youth work in Kisoro. Jenny is amazed at how God has led her into working with young people, despite thinking it was the domain for gifted specialists. She is praising God for the way his Spirit is changing the lives of the young people, who are so open to the message and to change. Being a youth leader, Jenny is sometimes able to get away from the stresses of Kisoro. She takes the young people and children to sports camps and speaks at the meetings there. |

One such camp in Northern Uganda last year drew young people from Sudan, some walking for a week to attend. Many responded to the message. We pray that these young people will now be Christ’s witnesses in their home environment and we pray for protection for them.
Jenny and her co-worker Rose travel on tremendously rough roads each Sunday visiting youth training centres in the diocese, where Jenny also speaks. They stay to answer questions and sometimes their Sunday is a twelve hour day away from home. Sports are proving a wonderful tool to be used by God in breaking down barriers.
Jenny and Rose feel that the time they are spending on the young people’s work is causing her to neglect the training of new leaders for work with children and young people. Please pray they have time to do this necessary training.
The coffee growing is going well. The potato project has brought in some welcome profits. Sadly the husbandry of some cultivation projects has not gone well, and management of them will be reviewed by the Children’s Ministry Management Committee.
Please continue to pray for the health and strength of the diocese and for the clergy in their ministry.
