Gibsons in Burkina FasoMission: Serving in Mission (SIM) Place: Burkina Faso ![]() Mark, Cheryl, Joshua, Amelia and Samuel Gibson at Burkina Faso Greetings from the Gibson familyThank you very much for the very generous gift you gave us. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for us as we seek to carry out the Lord's work in Djibo, Burkina Faso. The last few months have been difficult as the temperature has risen to 40-45° C with much humidity and we've also been having language tests, resulting in much lack of sleep! However, the temperature continues to rise but the tests did go well and we're relieved to have them done, although language study still continues as we seek to be more effective in communicating. Apart from language, Mark has been busy preaching out in the bush, teaching literacy and reading God's Word to people in hospital. I was recently called upon to help a lady to deliver her baby - I'm not a midwife! - which was a very interesting time but praise God mother and child are fine! The children are doing well at school and still have an amazing amount of energy even in a temperature of 45° C. Well, thank you all again for your generous support, may God bless you all. In Him - Mark, Cheryl, Joshua, Amelia and Samuel Do pray for the small group of Fulani believers up in Djibo that, despite their numbers, spiritually they will become strong.
