All Saints' valuesWho are we?We are a diverse group of people of all ages, many of whom have joined the church in recent years and a number of whom have been part of the All Saints’ family for a good length of time. Although we are part of the worldwide Anglican Church, and although for many of us, All Saints’ has been the first church we have ever really felt part of, others of us come from a wide variety of church backgrounds and traditions. We tend to sit light to many of the outward expressions of church tradition as we seek to express a timeless faith in ways appropriate to the contemporary world. We are committed to following God’s way as expressed in the Bible, to discovering more of his goodness and power in our own lives and to giving others the best possible opportunities to discover him for themselves. We are convinced that the Church is commissioned by Jesus to continue the precise work he himself began, that of announcing the presence of God’s authority on earth in the power of the Spirit. What makes All Saints’ ‘tick’ can best be discovered from our five core values, a set of foundational truths which we aim to see expressed in the life of every church activity, group and individual church member. | |||||
